When Nicholas Barron performs I always have to wonder, why in the world is this man not filling United stadium ten times over. This is the kind of musician who has the chops and the talents to be a world wide phenom. He’s just that good. And this show is free? I’d better see you there tonight. Downsizing Camus: Sunday March 8, 2009

Those darned college kids.  Drowning out the sorrow of future student loan payments with alcoholic indelicacies and readymade drama.  But, this college tale looks intriguing.  Make sure to reserve your free seat.

“Downsizing Camus takes place over the course of a blizzard-bound evening in a college tavern, where two strangers debate everything from the meaning of love to their best college stories concerning the involuntary evacuation of bodily fluids. When an idealistic 19-year-old coed enters the intimate environment, the emotional and intellectual tension builds to the point of devastating explosion.”

A staged reading of Downsizing Camus, a new play by Chicago playwright, director, and instructor Todd Bauer, is the next Victory Gardens Access Project Crip Slam presentation, Sunday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theatre, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago.
